Hey there, welcome to Jadynsweb!

I'm Jadyn (she/her), a food, music and photography enthusiast from Nairobi, Kenya. Blogs have always been fun to read for me and due to my love for food, photography and writing, I have been encouraged to start my own; hence the birth of...Jadynsweb.

Jadynsweb is lifestyle blog featuring posts on Nairobi's developing food scene, some photography, travel and a little about my academic adventures!

Thanks to a United World College scholarship I spent 2019-2021 at Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. For my extended essay, I undertook an interdisciplinary research project that examined the impact of aid flows between China and Kenya on the political relationship between the two countries.

Beginning September 2021, I will be pursuing my Bachelor's degree at Brown University where I hope to double concentrate in Africana studies and International & Public Affairs.

I have also recently started offering FREE help to international students applying to universities in the US to share some tips, resources and advice from my experience.
